Workstreams

There are three workgroups within ABSL IT Club:
  1. Benchmarking, Research and Analysis led by Piotr Czupryn from Kemira. In the initial meeting all of the IT Club members expressed the need to exchange information and bounce the ideas with representatives of other companies. Benchmarking team is creating the platform allowing IT Club members to connect and exchange information in an effortless way. Research and Analysis team took it upon themselves to create in cooperation with the ABSL Head of Research the first from the series of report on the current and future needs of the IT service industry in Poland.
  2. Talent Management, Linking with Universities led by Wojciech Nykowski from Citibank. As the IT sector in Poland is constantly growing the need for more close cooperation between business and universities has never been more prevalent. In cooperation with the sister special project of ABSL – the ABSL Academy – this workstream is aiming to create the working model and attractive content in cooperation with universities.
  3. Public Relations, Legal, Lobbying led by Rafał Rogoza from IBM. The current image of the shared services sector, especially among young IT professionals who are about to enter the labor market is far from reality. We are offering enormous and varied career opportunities where both the award winning top coders and people passionate about solving business problems through IT solutions and business process transformation can achieve their personal and professional goals. On the other hand there are still several legal barriers that are limiting even more dynamic growth of the IT industry in Poland, however we truly believe that working together – we have higher chances to influence the necessary changes.
